The Children's Trust
On Saturday 15th April, we had our annual Easter Fair at our specialist centre in Tadworth, Surrey. It was attended by just over 2,000 visitors and raised a cracking £10,000!
We couldn’t have held this event without all of the fantastic help from our kind volunteers and lovely donors. One of our volunteers who we would like to say a really special thanks to is Claire Howes.
Claire is a budding actress who coordinated and managed our Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt is one of the main attractions and the children flock to it so it was important that they loved it!
Claire carefully planned an interactive story where our visitors helped find Lily the rabbit’s Easter Eggs. The hunt took part on our nature trail where they were greeted by four famous bunnies such as Peter Rabbit who gave them clues to help find Lily’s eggs.
We are so grateful to Claire and all the work that she put in to make sure that the Easter Egg Hunt was a big success and we are thrilled to say it raised over £1,800.
