A little about me...

Since surviving a challenging childhood and battling through a bone marrow transplant, aged nine, I constantly strive to live each day to the full.

I first fell in love with theatre watching a production of 'Cinderella' with Gary Wilmot as 'Buttons' at Woking's New Victoria Theatre. I later auditioned for a role in 'Annie', when I was 12, not knowing how this would fuel the fire for my desire to act.

Ever since 'Annie', theatre has become my second home: on-stage, back-stage and front-of-house. I have performed in over forty productions in theatres all across Surrey and the UK as well as schools and care homes. I've also been involved in student movies and reconstructive footage for historical crime documentaries on television.

At only five foot in height, I see things from a rare perspective; always looking up and out at the world, open and eager to explore, learn and develop.

In 2009 I travelled around New Zealand and Australia on my own for five months. Although hesitant to begin with, I soon came out of my shell, enthusiastically taking part in thrilling activities such as white water rafting, hang-gliding, swimming with dolphins, bungee jumping and sky diving. I learned how to fend for myself and find my way around; I thoroughly enjoyed my time Down Under but it was also a great learning curve for me and I'm proud to have had the courage and ability to go out and do these things at such a young age.

After studying Psychology at the University of Surrey, I joined Peer Productions in September 2013; a charity based company that hire apprentice actors to tour schools in the South East performing educational shows on social issues. They also run drama and film workshops with disadvantaged youth and have their very own Youth Theatre, engaging the apprentices in all aspects of production especially during their main show of the year.

More recently I successfully auditioned for Drama Studio London and began studying in October 2014. I thoroughly enjoyed myself learning and developing my skills as an actor and as a human being. I graduated with a Diploma in Professional Acting in July 2016.

I can now been seen on the stage or screen as a professional actor. I'd love to continue to dance throughout life and I have joined the fabulous Show Choir to keep up my singing. I aspire, someday, to work with the RSC; I love period drama both on stage and screen, and it would be a dream come true to get a role in Call the Midwife, The Crown or even Doctor Who!
